WINE CELLARS

SENSITIVE STORAGE
A vine is a highly sensitive plant. It depends on three factors, light, relative humidity and ambient temperature, right from the planting of the vine to the ripening period, to the point of harvest and vinification. This sensitivity remains unchanged even once the wine has been bottled. Liebherr's wine cellars offer the ideal conditions of temperature, humidity, air purity, stillness and protection from the light to allow wine to mature as the winemaker intended.

CONSTANT TEMPERATURE
Temperature fluctuations and extreme temperatures diminish the quality of the wine. An accurate thermostat ensures the selected cellaring temperature is maintained without significant fluctuation.
A recirculating fan moves air and moisture throughout the long term storage cellars, so that, regardless of placing your wine at the top or the bottom of the cabinet, the temperature and humidity remains constant and will be as indicated on the external display.

OPTIMUM TEMPERATURE CONTROL
External temperature gauge and child safe control allows you to check and adjust the temperature inside your cellar without disturbing your wine collection. The temperature can be set between +2C +18C. For long term storage a selected temperature between +10 and +14C is recommended.

INNOVATIVE HYDRATING SYSTEM
The internal recirculating air fan installed in the wine cellars is positioned to re-distribute moisture from the rear grill. Humidity is maintained between 50% and 80%, ensuring corks remain supple.
